brazilian music is an almost untapped market on a global scale. after living in são paulo, xhjyl was able to make in roads assisting artists with creative direction and project / marketing management, with a focus on gaining international traction. during his time at EMPIRE, he was able to take this a step further, signing artists to full service deals, facilitating international features, and managing marketing campaigns. he also does contract digital sales work for artists looking to expand their presence on brazilian DSPs.

at home in the US, he has done similar work to that in Brazil, with the added component of management. he worked closely with Sango, as well as and Bay Area producer Wax Roof, building rollouts, placing features, booking appearances and more.
