tako’s son: the story of rucci, his father & inglewood

With Rucci’s Tako’s Son documentary, we dissected the relationship between rising Inglewood star Rucci, his father and the city that formed him, on a three day skeleton crew shoot took, myself and my director / cam op through Inglewood, the greater LA area and Tijuana. The film was released alongside his debut album “Tako’s Son”, and ultimately was supported by Complex, The Fader, Revolt and more, as well as local artists like Vince Staples.
